Oscar 2015: Birdman vola via con 4 statuette

Se sei stato un eroe popolare come Birdman, con tanto di ali e becco, antesignano dei supereroi di oggi, e' difficile rifarsi una verginità nella perfida Hollywood. Proprio la Hollywood che invece stasera ha premiato al Dolby Theather 'Birdman' del regista messicano Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu  con l'Oscar come miglior film, regia, sceneggiatura originale e fotografia. 

    Una sorta di black comedy quella di Inarritu con protagonista un attore, Riggan Thomson (uno straordinario Michael Keaton ), non più giovane, che non riesce appunto a liberarsi del suo antico e popolare ruolo di supereroe. E questo per smentire anche quello che sottolinea un personaggio del film, ovvero ''che la fama e' solo la cuginetta zoccola del prestigio''.

    Insomma Riggan vuole fare il salto, quello di interpretare, scrivere e dirigere una piece di teatro nella mitica Broadway.

i possibili, quelli dei colleghi che non lo riconoscono, quelli della sua vanità e quelli della sua famiglia ormai disastrata. Nel cast Zach Galifianakis (nel ruolo del coraggioso produttore della piece), Edward Norton (attore talentuoso e super-inaffidabile), Andrea Riseborough (la compagna di Riggan), Amy Ryan, Emma Stone (la figlia tossica e talentuosa del protagonista) e Naomi Watts.

  Dovrà così affrontare tutti  I fantasmi di Riggan sono tanti come la sua ''paura di non contare nulla'', come egli stesso spesso ripete. Perche' mentre cerca una identità, la cosa più difficile per un attore, deve fare i conti con una critica che lo odia, con la gente che lo vuole rivedere nei panni del supereroe, con la voce dello stesso supereroe che lo perseguita indicando come sua unica strada quella di farlo rivivere. E un po' di rimpianto, va detto, c'e' in Riggan ora che ''tutti gli attori di Hollywood hanno messo un costume da supereroe''.

Il film, a firma del regista messicano autore di Amores Perros, Babel e 21 grammi, e' ricco di folgoranti citazioni, da Barthes a Strindberg. Tra le più cattive quella della critica teatrale rivolta a Riggan: ''Lei non e' un attore, e' solo una celebrità''. Più mirata quella del fantasma di Birdman allo stesso Riggan:''Che sono tutte queste parole? Facciamo ancora un film d'azione e non tutta questa filosofia''.

    Infine, le prime parole del film, fuori campo, sono un chiaro inizio di quello a cui si sta per assistere e fanno pensare un po' per tono e contenuto a Terrence Malick: ''Come siamo mai finiti in questo posto? E' davvero orribile''. A pronunciarle e' sempre Riggan, di spalle, mentre levita nella posizione yoga detta del Loto.
